And you guys thought Darth Vader was dead?! Don't be silly...he's been hanging out on that infamous island with Tupac and Elvis honing his musical talents, preparing for his epic return to the world (galatic) stage. Check out the leaked video above of one of his first live performances. He strategically picked a nursing home to debut his show, knowing that if it didn't go, well, they would forget anyways. I also didn't realize Darth was Hispanic. Did you catch those dance moves?!? Big props to our homegirl Julie Hord for this epic find...as she would say: "Happy Friday y'all!"

P.S. - Check out how at the end the DJ panics to find a song to follow Darth's act...I was hoping for the Thong Song...yeah I said it!
Friday is just around the corner and you may be looking for that little something to push through the home stretch. Well, you really can't go wrong with talking animals, especially when they have funny accents. May your chuckles ensue...
A huge congrats to the lovely Miss Munn who was voted number TWO in Maxim's 2011 Hot 100. That's right number TWO...beating out the likes of Mila Kunis, Bar Refaeli, Olivia Wilde, and Natalie Portman to name a few. Now, you may be yelling out "Erroneous" in your best Vince Vaughn impression, but you need to tell your Maaa to hold off on the meatloaf and hear me out. To go along with her ninja-like good looks, she is making a name for herself by pretty much out working anyone and everyone in the biz (Ryan Seacrest watch out!). The best part is that she is as humble as they come. I got to meet Olivia last Summer over the 4th of July weekend, and she was one of the few things in the Hamptons that wasn't pretentious. Don't let her sarcastic humor fool you, she cares deeply about her work and her fans, often pulling 18-hour work days and still having time to meet and greet her fans where ever she goes. Not gonna lie though, it's still pretty funny seeing her verbally joust unknowing victims. I don't know about you, but I can't think of anything hotter than a beautiful, funny lady who is driven and works hard. A true muse and for this we salute you Olivia Munn!!! Congrats again and quite frankly I demand a recount. Here's to making you number ONE next year...

P.S. - Make sure to follow her on Twitter if you enjoyed that clip cause there is plenty more where that came from...
As you sit at your desk wondering how you can somehow create a day to put in between Sunday and Monday (I'm still trying to figure that one out myself actually), I would like to take a second and pick your brains a bit. It will be quick and easy, and it won't hurt - I promise. As many of you may know, we are hard at work here at Dyce HQ preparing for our next release. As we get our final specs in check for our new watches and accessories, we want to reach out to you guys to get some input and thoughts. A couple of weeks back we had a special sale run thru JackThreads, a Thrillist company, which gave us a unique national stage to showcase our products. Along with a national Thrillist plug, we were able to feature our products and offer a special price to all of their exclusive members. We believe sites like Jack Threads are perfect for spreading the word and getting our product out there, so this is where we pick your brains a bit. What cool sites do you guys frequent that you would think would be a great fit for us? What about boutiques and in what cities? We have a couple in mind, but it's always great to get insight from you guys because you know what they say - the customer always knows best! Feel free to leave us a comment here, via Twitter, or on our Facebook page and let us know what you think!! See that wasn't too bad, except for having to read thru my attempt to be a world class journalist...Pulitzer here I come!!

In the modern world where Facebook is the new hangout and downloading music and movies for free is a normal thing, Noam Galai's interesting story is still disconcerting in the fact that everything on the internet is public, to the point where your face could be on books, apparel and street art all over the world... without your knowledge. Noam took some self portraits and posted them on Flickr. Through his friends he realized that slowly but surely people were using his image for protest, for art, and for profit. It sends a powerful message about how copyright is really only for those that can afford to protect it.
Almost Kings will be doing their thing this Saturday night at Wild Bill's for the release of their much anticipated new EP, "Club Rock". We will be in attendance as well, and we want you to be too!!! Hit us up at firstname.lastname@example.org, and we'll get you on the guest list so you can throw down with the rest of us compliments of Almost Kings and Dyce. Little treat from a past show...backstage bitches!!!
Thank you once again to everyone that came out on Monday for the Valentine's Bash at Thunder Jackson's!!! We had a great time and were able to get our brand in front of a lot of new people. With PNC Radio in the house and our crew in full effect, we were able to get the vibe right and ready. Mix in the die hard BC hockey fans (Boston College was in the Bean Cup Finals and Thunder Jackson's is the official bar), the awesome giveaways, Dyce Love Elixir shots, and we had ourselves a crazy fun, love-edition shindig. Stay tuned as we are working to put together a monthly happy hour, a Dyce hour if you will, with more drink specials and entertainment. Roll The Dyce!!!

The aftermath is right folks, and I'm not talking Dr. Dre. The whirlwind trip to Dallas for the Super Bowl has finally come to an end, and while some things may have to be kept for my face to face storytelling, I can't help but give you a little recap. We were able to be a part of a special night out at the Fair Grounds in Dallas for the Maxim Carnival party. As one of the exclusive jewelry/accessory sponsors, we had the opportunity to be one of the prizes for all the winners of the night. It was pretty impressive as any carnival staple you can imagine was present from skee-ball to a ferris wheel. Stuffed animals to cotton candy. It was all here and present, and with some alcohol sprinkled in you can only imagine the adult fun that was had. Along with the crazy games on display, the music was top notch from beginning to end. DJ Vice set the tone for the evening with a non-stop array of hits, ranging from classic hits to current headbangers. Once the people were primed up, Jason Derulo hit the stage with a quick medley of hits, setting the stage for the eclectic Wyclef Jean set. I am going to be honest, I did not expect Wyclef to be as entertaining as he was, but he seriously stole the show. He single handedly turned the party into a memorable night. Needless to say, fun was had and impressions were made, and we were lucky enough to be a part of such a big event. If we can leave you with anything let it be this: When in doubt, make sure to order a limo!!! Roll The Dyce!

Olivia where you at?!?
Wyclef brought all the girls on stage...I don't blame him!
Tonight, we're sending live updates from the Maxim Super Bowl party as we're one of the sponsors for their star studded event. This year's party consists of a carnival theme and we're the exclusive jewelry/accesory prize of the night! Skee-ball anyone?!?! We'll also have the lovely pins shown above (thanks Jes for the awesome design) on hand for all the participants along with an exclusive Maxim promo code. Since you're part of the family too, we'll let you in on the fun. For a limited time only, enter the promo code "maximdyce" at checkout and get 20% off your purchase. Yup, so all you guys out there who are looking to get your girl something nice for Valentine's, take advantage and get her the Muse with the special code. And for all you ladies, tell your man you have a special deal for something you REALLY want. And if you don't have a significant other, give the middle finger to made up love holidays and take the time to buy yourself something nice. Either way, you come out winning...just saying....
